The Rhodesia Thieving

Thank you for all who have signed up for out very first RP! Our Role Players are:Chrisco97 playing William Chrisco & James Benson & John Doe ~ Sherlockrulez playing Kit A. Baddock ~ Naruto87 playing Joshua Garcia ~ Myself playing Edward J. Claton & Charles Smith & the Receptionist William, Kit, Joshua, and Edward were gathered in a small room. This morning they had all been called for a special case, but were given no details but where to go. A few sipped their coffee as others tapped their arm rests in impatience. How long has it been now? Edward watched the clock and smelled the coffee that he so badly wanted but did not permit himself to get because it distracts him. The clock seemed to grow louder and louder as the time went on, but at last the door opened quietly and the police chief stepped in. He closed the door back carefully and nodded a greeting to the gentlemen. "Thank you for coming." He said to the detectives, "I apologize for the early hour and the brief call, but there is an emergency." As he spoke his voice seemed to get lower as if he didn't want someone to hear what he was saying, "I've called you hear in privet because the press needs to hear nothing of this until it is over. There are very few who know of what has happened and you are about to be included in this few." He stepped closer, a gesture to show how important and secret this is, "An extremely valuable possession has been stolen. It is called the 'Star of Rhodesia.' It has only recently been stolen and it must have been taken by professional thieves. The Star of Rhodesia was well hidden in a hotel named Hotel Di Riposo owned by the Doe family. Where, when , why, and by who is unknown and finding those things out are up to you. You must understand that no one must hear of this until the case is solved. 3 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

Go to Hotel Di Riposo—William I believe you are familiar of it's whereabouts—and find out all you can. Two children were stolen before the Star of Rhodesia was, so knowing that might help you. Their names are Luke Doe and Amelia Doe, the son and daughter to the owner of Hotel Di Riposo. Only come to me when you have a good idea of who, when, or why it was stolen. Good luck to all of you." And with that he was out the door.

Kit yawned and reached for some coffee. "Same old stuff, same old chief...never changes." He rubbed his temples to calm the storm in his head from a little brawl he got in the local pub the previous night, and a-little-too-much-whiskey he enjoyed before said brawl. Of course this morning he just had to get a call for this missing jewel case. All well, at least he had work and it sounded like it had potential. "So, when do we get this show on the road?" He asked before taking a huge gulp of strong coffee.

"Time is short." Mr. William Chrisco said while sipping some of his coffee from his cup. "We need to head to the hotel within the next ten minutes."

"Alright, alright kid." Braddock took a sip of coffee and rubbed his temples. "We'll get going soon." He looked at the other detectives who had not yet spoken. "Ready?"

Chrisco led the way to the hotel. When they arrived, Chrisco asked "I wonder where we should start investigating...we have no evidence, suspects, anything. We just know the kids were kidnapped along with The Star of Rhodesia."

Her eyes widened at the sight of the badge. /Thank God... they're here./ She thought to herself."He isn't feeling very well right now, beings his children were stolen right from under him, but he's his office." She pointed behind her at the door, "I'll have to go with you. You need a key to get in and he won't answer his door when you knock..." She stood up and opened the door to break room. At the other side was a door with a deadbolt on it. She walked up to, knocked and slowly opened the door for them. "Mr. Doe? You have visitors..." She widened the door for them and gestured for them to go in. Do you find this valuable? |

"I am sorry about my attitude lately." Mr. Doe said while he wiped some tears out of his eyes. "I sure hope you can help." He said right before he started to get more tears in his eyes.
