Your thoughts on new mini-series ?

Hi everyone. Only just found this site so pleased I did. What are your thoughts on the new BBC1 mini-series ?
I was expecting to hate it but actually was quite surprised and looking forward to next episode. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Yes it was a pleasant surprise. Benedict is quite quirky looking and Martin has the right hang dog expression. Nice to include Mycroft. Roll on Sunday!!

Feel exactly the same. I wanted to hate it, however could they do it? but it was fabulous. Loved the pink suitcase very girlie very 2010 !! Do you find this valuable?

I liked it, I really like how they stayed pretty close to the books, while they were still current. It was a nice take on Sherlock, and I love Benedict as Holmes.

I definately will be buying when it is on DVD. Do you find this valuable?

Definately buying DVD chrisco97. Benedict is quirky and I like Martin Freeman is most of his acting roles so it is win, win. I thought the critics would maul the series but it has had good reviews. Do you find this valuable?

I really, really liked it. Gets about a 8.5/10 from me. It was engaging, had tons of intrigue, and I must say when the cabbie walked in behind Mrs. Hudson my heart started pounding.

It was definately my kind of TV series. Do you find this valuable?

2nd episode absolutely brilliant. Will not spoil it for those not seen but a winner. Dr Watson the Ladies Man !!!! Do you find this valuable?

It has traversed into the 21st Century so well it is just superb. Sherlock is quirky, socially clumsy and awkward but just so uber astute I love him. Watson is brilliant with his 21st Century medical career and again reverts to type - his weakness for women !!! Last one next week *sobs* but DVD here I come. Do you find this valuable?

Hour and 1/2 to go !!! It has been reviewed and said the best of the three!!! It has really surprised me. Do you find this valuable?

Living in the US I have been unable to see this yet but from what I gather, PBS in the states will be broadcasting it in October. Long wait but looking forward to it. Do you find this valuable?
