I know!! Best Sherlock in the history of the history of Sherlocks! (LOL) RDJ, was great too. Not the best, but great.

DEFINITELY! lol. And I kind of agree about RDJ. He was great, as an actor, but as Holmes, he just didn't quite "do it" for me. I never pictured Holmes anything like that at all. Rathbone was always my only Sherlock.

Well, they were actually pretty close to the books. You see Holmes was known to be a fist-fighter, and used to be a boxer. According to "A Study in Scarlet."

"I agree with Jen plushenko that Basil Ratyhbone is the best but I would have to have Robert Downey Jr. 2nd If Not 1st with Basil"I also have reason for basil being 1# if you watch the great mouse detective (kids movie by the way the name the mouse that is basicaly sherlock Basil because BASIL is 1#..As well as that during the movie when themice go to 221b to get tOBY HIS SHADOW (ANIMATED BUT BASED OFF BASIL RATHBONE ) goes through the room and uses his voice from a recrding of the Red headed leauge. Do you find this valuable? |
