Main Characters:

Sherlock Holmes: The famous detective who lives at 221b Baker Street with his loyal friend, Dr. John H. Watson.

Dr. Watson: The loyal friend and associate of Sherlock Holmes. He also lives at 221b Baker Street.

Inspector Lestrade: One of the Scotland Yard inspectors who appeared in many of the Holmes stories, and is described by Holmes as the best of the Scotland Yard inspectors.

Mycroft Holmes: The brother of Sherlock Holmes, who is said to have better deductive powers than Holmes.
