William, Kit, Joshua, and Edward were gathered in a small room. This morning they had all been called for a special case, but were given no details but where to go. A few sipped their coffee as others tapped their arm rests in impatience. How long has it been now? Edward watched the clock and smelled the coffee that he so badly wanted but did not permit himself to get because it distracts him. The clock seemed to grow louder and louder as the time went on, but at last the door opened quietly and the police chief stepped in. He closed the door back carefully and nodded a greeting to the gentlemen.

"Thank you for coming." He said to the detectives, "I apologize for the early hour and the brief call, but there is an emergency." As he spoke his voice seemed to get lower as if he didn't want someone to hear what he was saying, "I've called you hear in privet because the press needs to hear nothing of this until it is over. There are very few who know of what has happened and you are about to be included in this few." He stepped closer, a gesture to show how important and secret this is, "An extremely valuable possession has been stolen. It is called the 'Star of Rhodesia.' It has only recently been stolen and it must have been taken by professional thieves. The Star of Rhodesia was well hidden in a hotel named Hotel Di Riposo owned by the Doe family. Where, when , why, and by who is unknown and finding those things out are up to you. You must understand that no one must hear of this until the case is solved.

This is the official sign up thread for our first Role Play (RP) case: The Rhodesia Thieving! If you haven't already, create your RP detective in the ¹Scotland Yard. When you're done, come back here and sign up your detective for the case! Here's a description of The Rhodesia Thieving:

The owner of Hotel Di Riposo has purchased the Star of Rhodesia. The Star of Rhodesia is worth over three thousand pounds and is worth even more on the black market. The only two people the hotel owner, John Doe, has ever let anywhere near it were his children, Luke and Amelia Doe. Hotel Di Riposo is a very successful Hotel, and little Luke and Amelia are free to run around the hotel as they please, as long as they do not bother any of the guests or staff. Those two know where the Star of Rhodesia is hidden... and that's why they are missing. Two men, James Benson and Charles Smith, are known for their ability to fine, retrieve, and sell high quality items in the black market, and they will stop at nothing to please their top buyers. Now, the criminals hide in their temporary layer in the drains, holding the young whippersnappers hostage until they tell them where the Star of Rhodesia is hidden.

When you start out RPing, you will receive a missing children report from the police station. Near the end of the mystery, you will find the criminals resting in their drain-layer. But before any of that happens, we need detective sign ups! Reply below with the following fields:
